- 1 / 5By Fred CCashier cheated me of $10. She took my $20 bill as payment for a coffee. Put my 20 in the drawer, then placed a 10 from the drawer on the counter like she was starting to make change. She "fidgeted" with the register for a minute, as if it wasn't working, eventually she "gave up" with the register and said she would figure out the change by hand... only this time starting with the 10. I protested, but she insisted I gave her 10. It's an old trick.
