  Have visited the Jordon Pond House since I was a child. Always a great experience. Food was great as usual. A few things, way too many flies and it was cold inside the restaurant. On the way out I noticed the entry doors were open. I told the receptionist that she should close the doors and she replied that she couldn't keep them closed. People were not closing them as they left. Device or spring that keep the doors closed should be replaced. Wonder if these flies were in the kitchen as well.

  Gorgeous outside seating next to Jordon's Pond.
  
  The food was great.
  The service was great, but got a bit spotty at the end.
  
  Popovers are what this place is famous for. Ask for the Blueberry Jam! My husband thought that the popovers tasted like a hollow croissant. I truly enjoyed it.
  
  They do charge around $5 for each popover. So this lunch can be a bit pricey if you are a party of 2 and get 2 popovers each. Is that necessary, to get two? No, but I think one was not enough, considering most of it is 'air.'
  
  I had some grain salad that I really enjoyed and my husband had the BLT.
  
  Yummy, fresh, tricolored potato chips.
  
  Best of all was the view overlooking the pond and the weather was perfect. We went in March.
  
  We followed the meal with a walk around the whole pond. Around 3 miles.
  
  Beautiful day. Wonderful Restaurant experience.
  
  Keep in mind, the wait to be seated can be quite long. Especially if you request to sit outside.

  We went for dinner in mid October. The staff was pretty limited and took a long time getting to us. Some members of the staff were just wearing normal street clothes, not any kind of uniform. Not very professional. The music they were playing was also strange; all breakup songs. The menu was good but not too interesting. Dessert was the best part. We recommend the blueberry crisp. For being known as a tea house they did not have many tea options. If you are going for lunch be sure you arrive early to find parking.
